The Ocassionally-Weekly AT Snapshot - 08/24/07
Ask and ye shall receive...someone asked for the return of the snapshots, and we have a few we haven't used, so here ya go.
This week's snapshot comes to us from "Muzza". Thanks, Muzza!

Thaad- what was it like designing TIDE OF IRONING? Do you feel the game captures the theme? How willyou feel if in 20 years someone reprints it with a DUNE theme?
I love the iron burn. I can't wait for the expansion:
"Days of the Sox"
Ha, very nice.
I'd love to see the cover of Wallachia (see my comment here - http://fortressameritrash.blogspot.com/2007/08/new-cracked-lcd-column-eurogames.html). It could be an edited Wallenstein cover.
You could retain the whole cheap-looking illustration based on a painting deal, but obviously it would be a cheap illustration of Vlad instead of the general. You could use the same font as Wallenstein, leaving the "Wall" part as is. The background would remain the same, except paste on some impalement victims whose blood stains the grass.
I'm not sure what Vlad should be instructing the fruity-colored dudes to do... Maybe he's gesturing at an instructional diagram on proper impalement technique.
Some links to pics:
Wallenstein the dude
Wallenstein the game

Please let me know if anyone likes the idea and would like to take a crack at it...If not, I'll give it a shot though it might take me a while to get it looking better than terrible. :)
I can see the BVD Campaign scenarios now....

Rock. That's up on our Bulletin board now...
That is a pretty ace photoshop job, definitely had to use it. Got a laugh out of it the first time I saw it.
Funniest yet.
I'd rather see the expansion "Battle of the Bulge in my underpants"

That would be the 1/1 scale one shipped in the leftover boxes from 'Carcassonne - The River' ?
Alright, cock jokes! Civilization is saved once again!
I'm very interested in the "spin cycle" mechanism I've read about.
Are those Maytag IVF's in the picture or IVFb's - which had the late war water saving tech.
Anyone with a session report on this yet?

It ain't big, but it's pretty, and the ladies love playing it more than "Lost Cities".

Well someone had to knock you back into the Crapola Universe from where ever you had floated off to .... even if it was a closet Munchkin owner.
Joy!
Thanks for posting this. I was starting to think I'd sent it to the wrong address.
Tom, you're talking about this MUNCHKIN thing like you're that guy with the 10" cock that lets everybody know..."Well, you know, as a guy with a 10" cock I have a lot to say about the political situation in North Korea"..."Having a 10" cock, I'm sure I can come up with a great potato salad recipe for tonight's get-together", etc.
This is turning into a sausage fest. Do stop it.
Munchkin envy - the scourge of mankind.
[flailing away from the spotlight] . Back in my box now
Will all the expansions fit in there too?
So what's the joke?
I hear they are making a WWI variant:
"All Quiet on the Western Y-front"
Not to mention the Boxer Rebellion variant.
Oh, wait, I just did.
If you rub my munchkin - it expands quite a bit.
You have a rubber munchkin?
